I was talking to a friend the other day and she mentioned how much more productive she is when she starts with an idea about something rather than feeling like she has to take some kind of action. She referred to the latter as coming from a place of anxiety whereas the former comes from a place of generativity.

Research suggests that we have something like 60,000 ideas go through our heads everyday but we rarely stop to pay attention to them. Pick one and go with it and see where it leads
